Kang Eun Ho, a rookie lawyer from the countryside, joins a small law firm in Seoul, grabbing one last chance at a new life. Behind her bright and optimistic personality lies a painful past, but like a true underdog, she never gives up. Her first assignment pairs her with Lee Tae Jo, a problematic lawyer born into a legal dynasty. He treats trials like games and has no interest in uncovering the truth, causing constant clashes with Eun Ho as they begin their uneasy partnership. In a courtroom where truth and justice are often overshadowed by politics and power, even the meaning of "partner" becomes unclear. Can two people with completely different values become true partners in the end?
