In 1999 and in Geoje, high school student Pil Sun and her best friend Mi Na have a passion for dancing. Unfortunately, they don't have a dance room at school where they can dance to their heart's content. One day, they see transfer student Se Hyun from Seoul doing cheerleading in the classroom. To get their own dance room at school, Pil Sun and Mi Na decide to form a cheerleading club with Se Hyun. This is how the 9 members of cheerleading club "Millennium Girls" first begin. The Millennium Girls cheer for the Geoje Commercial High School soccer team, which Chi Hyeong plays for, despite the fact that the team is the worst in their league.
